Yet another time-consuming aspect of third party liability is the inevitable reduction requests, claim repricing, and lien negotiations. MedPay Assurance's attorneys and paralegals field all these requests. All reductions and account negotiations are based upon documented need and only when in the best interests of the health care provider. All negotiations are based upon protocols set by the client.
In order to maintain a consistent point of negotiation, MedPay Assurance recommends that all attorney requests be forwarded to its offices. This saves hospital personel time and aggravation, and increases revenue by maintaining consistency in the negotiation process.
