Third party Billing

Once Third Party Claims are identified, MedPay Assurance, LLC fully investigates the claims. Each patient receives a screening questionnaire. MedPay provides a number of convenient methods for the patients to respond to the questionnaire which include business reply mail, MedPay's patient services hotline, or our convenient and easy to use online response webpage  at http://www.medpayresponse.com.  Soon after the questionnaire is sent, our highly experienced and trained paralegals conduct a telephone interview with the patient.  If necessary, skip trace services are used to locate the patient.  Our Patient Services department also conducts additional investigation as may be required.  If necessary the claim may be referred to one of our attorneys for evaluation.

Once the investigation is complete, the claim will be billed to the appropriate insurance company or companies, liens will be filed, and the claims will be followed through payment.  If the investigation concludes that third party liability is not available, the claim will be referred back to our client for further handling with the results of the investigation.
